Starting Labor Day weekend, Virgin Hotels Chicago is hosting “Paint the Town” with an in-room sip and paint experience inspired by the the Art Institute of Chicago’s highly anticipated "Monet and Chicago” exhibit launching on September 5th.

Guests can channel their inner artist and create their own masterpiece from their hotel room with an exclusive art kit created by local studio, Chicago Sip & Paint. The art set-up includes an easel, canvas, paint, brushes and step-by-step instructions to create your own version of one of Monet’s most iconic pieces, Irises, or other Chicago-inspired scenes. The "Paint the Town” package also includes up to 20% off your stay and a complimentary bottle of wine. 

Cerise, the hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant, is also offering a special Monet-inspired cocktail. Water Lily, a nod to one of Monet’s popular works, features a blend of Genever, Caraway Liqueur, Honey Shrub, Rosemary-Bergamot Bitters, Fresh Lemon Juice, Blue Curacao, Egg White, Blackcurrant Pearls, Ube Extract and is garnished with smoked rosemary. Inspired by Monet’s love of gardens, the cocktail is served in a glass terrarium with greenery and stones ($25). Guests can enjoy this artistic cocktail and soak in stunning views of Chicago at Cerise, open seven days a week (12pm-10pm). 

The Paint the Town package and special cocktail will run throughout the duration of he exhibit (September 5, 2020 - January 18, 2021).
