Da Bears are "popping up" this September in the form of a limited-time lounge. In celebration of the Chicago Bears' 100th year, Timothy O'Toole's Pub in Streeterville will transform their private bar room into "Swerski's, A Chicago Pop Up Bar for Superfans." Bill Swerski and his "superfans" are the SNL characters.
Swerski's, A Chicago Pop Up Bar for Superfans will feature decor similar to the SNL set, a Chicago Bears-themed food and drink menu (listed below), photo opportunity backdrops and props, merchandise and more. Guests that choose who order a Miller Lite while they toast to the Monsters of the Midway will receive a complimentary Swerski's koozie.
Chef Corey Grupe's special menu is detailed below. The pop up bar's grand opening will be Thursday, September 5 from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. The regular hours for Swerski's will be Thursday-Friday, 5:30 p.m.-4 a.m. and Saturday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 a.m. through football season.
