Additionally, every Tuesday in October, from 5-7 p.m., brewery guest speakers will be on hand to discuss their beers, offer free samples, and give away swag to attendees.

This Oktoberfest, Hard Rock Cafe Chicago will be offering a special Octoberfest Menu. Available from Sept. 18 through Oct. 6. Hard Rock Cafe Chicago will also host a Beer Stein Hoisting Competition sponsored by Sam Adams on Oct. 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This free event challenges participants to test their strength and endurance by seeing who can hold a beer stein the longest. TheChicago Firehouse Restaurant has announced a multi-day Oktoberfest Celebration from Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29 at the South Loop restaurant. The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant will offer diners a special menu of German culinary options and festive folk music by the Die Musikmeisters Band on Friday September 27 from 6:30-9:30 pm. In addition to this special Oktoberfest menu, diners will also have access to The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant’s full menu.
- Housemade Giant Bavarian Pretzel: served with warm beer cheese and spicy brown mustard.

Attendees can shop local pet vendors, dog-friendly activities including photo opps, and treats for humans and animals alike. The event is free to attend, with a cash bar available for food and beverages.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Each Saturday starting September 28th, Chicagoans can pop over to Cruz for an Oktoberfest fusion menu— crispy cheese curds, tacos, PQM’s signature meats, sandwiches, and more, set to the tune of live polka music. Cruz Blanca will have exclusive seasonal beer pairings, including their very own Oktoberfest brew, Das Bueno. No tickets are needed, but reservations are available on Eventbrite.

Guests will be offered traditional German food and drinks, as well as a variety of activities and entertainment. Kicking off the day with a keg tapping at 11am with Gutenburg chef, Jorge Kauam, he will then be grilling on Time Out’s front patio as he offers a variety of pretzels, brats, and even a foot-long brat from 1-5pm.
