Ocean Prime Chicago (87 East Wacker Drive), is now offering a Millennium Park Summer Concert Series Prix Fixe Menu that will feature three courses and is priced at $65 per person. For those looking to dine prior to the park's summer programming, Executive Chef Jason Shelley has developed a special selection of items featuring everything from an 8 oz. Filet to Blackened Snapper.
“There is nothing that says summer in Chicago quite like attending a concert in Millennium Park,” says Executive Chef Shelley. “With this menu that perfectly complements this well-attended seasonal activity, we have set out to offer patrons a prime dining experience just steps away from the action.”
This special menu features a first and second course, as well as one side dish and dessert of your choice. First course options include French Onion Soup with brandy & aged Swiss; Caesar Salad with crisp romaine, parmesan garlic dressing, and brioche croutons; and House Salad with romaine lettuce, field greens, granny smith apples, goat cheese, walnuts, and a sherry mustard vinaigrette. Items to choose from on the second course menu include Blackened Snapper paired with corn spoon bread and jalapeño tartar; 8 Oz. Filet served with a gouda potato cake, seared spinach, and cabernet jus; Freebird Farms Chicken prepared with spinach bread salad, roasted tomatoes, olives and balsamic jus; and Teriyaki Salmon with sticky rice and soy butter sauce. To pair with their entrée, guests choose one side from options including Creamy Whipped Potatoes, Broccoli and Cauliflower, Truffle Mac & Cheese and ChophouseCorn. Those looking for something sweet can choose between the Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte or Butter Cake.
