  • Central Park Bar

Chicagoans are invited to kick-off the New Year with Central Park bar and cure their hangovers with half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Central Park Bar’s outdoor bar is now enclosed and weather-proofed for the season with overhead heaters and features three 55-inch TVs and a bumper pool table, so guests can play during the fall and winter seasons. Just outside of the enclosed area is a cozy fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs, which will be in operation (weather permitting).

New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruises – December 31: Indulge in all-inclusive packages featuring chef-prepared menus and the option of an open bar. Spread across 50,000 square feet and three floors, this disco-themed event will feature music by New York DJ Moon Boots. This New Year’s Eve Fioretta is set to feature a special three-course tasting menu offering a dining experience with curated options for each course. Main course options range from hand-cut filet mignon and Chilean sea bass to macaroni alla vodka, with premium additions such as surf and turf or king crab Oscar style available.   • Fora and Selva at The Emily Hotel

On NYE, celebrate on the 7th-floor rooftop with DJ Paolo Zamora spinning Latin lo-fi and open-format beats from 8 PM until close. Downstairs, Fora will feature dining and beverage specials including a Petite Filet with Lobster Tail-Bearnaise, Shrimp Cocktail with Harissa Cocktail Sauce, Blanton’s Old Fashioned and ½ Off Select Sparkling Wines.

On NYD, Fora will be open from 9 AM to 2 PM, featuring a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar. 

  • The Loyalist

The Loyalist is celebrating New Years Eve 2024 with a special four-course menu plus one initial round of canapés from Chef John Shields. The whole dinner will cost $195 per person, and diners will be required with a $100 per person deposit when they make their reservation via Tock. 

Gold Coast

  • 360 Chicago

360 CHICAGO will host a New Year’s Eve event on Saturday, December 31 from 9 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. with several celebratory festivities in addition to panoramic views of fireworks displays throughout Chicago from 1,030 feet above. Early Bird Tickets are available starting at $100 on the website at 360Chicago.com/activities/new-years-eve.  
 
Guests can enjoy night-time views of Chicago’s skyline lit up with NYE firework displays from Navy Pier’s grand show to neighborhood park displays, along with a local DJ spinning live for the dance floor. A toast will also take place at midnight to ring in the new year.  
 
There will be plenty of seating within the observation deck, including at CloudBar, Chicago highest cocktail lounge offering specialty cocktails inspired by Chicago neighborhoods, like the “Heavenly Martini” and “Gold Coast Manhattan,” as well as local brews on tap. Small bites will be available while supplies last as well. 
 
Tickets to this year’s New Year’s Eve event include unlimited rides on TILT, a glass vestibule that leans guests out at a 30-degree angle, 1,030 feet over the Magnificent Mile, and a glass of sparkling wine for the toast. Guests are required to “dress to impress” in cocktail or formal attire. Black tie is optional. 
 
Tickets to this event are projected to sell out.  As the event nears, the ticket price will increase. All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. This event is for 21+ guests. An I.D. will be required for entry and the last admission will be at 11:30 p.m. Complimentary coat check is provided on the concourse level as well.  

  • Torali

The restaurant will be open through midnight on New Year’s Eve and from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Guests can opt for a five-course, pre-fixe New Year’s Eve Dinner ($270) featuring King Crab, with saffron aioli, brioche migas, salmorejo, chervil and preserved lemon; Duck Leg, with risotto, tropical gastrique and jicama; Anelletti al Forno, beef, pork, ricotta, mozzarella, tomato, basil, parmesan; Crab - Halibut, with saffron braised fennel, parsnip, rosemary fume and basil-garlic oil; and Wagyu, with truffle potato pavé, peas, heirloom carrots and espagnole sauce. 

The morning after, indulge in brunch dishes like Scotch Eggs ($35), with Italian sausage, truffle bearnaise, pickled onions and a petite salad; and Dungeness Crab Benedicts ($38), with asparagus, poached eggs and dill hollandaise served on English muffins. The Wings & Waffles ($35), offer a balance of sweet and savory with a mango-chili compote; and the Confetti Pancakes ($28), topped with vanilla whipped cream and caramel sauce. The brunch menu also features seasonal dishes like the hearty Italian Lentil Soup ($17), with tomatoes, pancetta and Parmigiano Reggiano; and Fire Roasted Apples ($19), with spinach, marinated goat cheese, macerated figs, sweet pickled pearl, chive, croutons, red wine vinaigrette and candied walnuts.   • Briny Swine Smokehouse & Oyster Bar

On New Year’s Eve, Briny Swine will offer a Low Country Shrimp Boil. This feast of shrimp, corn, sausage, spices and more will be steamed and laid out on Briny’s picnic tables for all to enjoy as a family. The a la carte menu featuring bite-off-da-bone Carolina-style barbeque and coastal specialties is also available all night. On Tuesday, December 31st, join the Argentine restaurant for three seatings; from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, and 9:00pm - close. Guests can select from menu favorites like the Parrillada (for 2), consisting of asado de tira (Short rib), vacio (sirloin flap), chorizo (sausage), mollejas y morcilla (sweetbreads and blood sausage), or El Che - grilled flank steak with red chimichurri served on a table-top grill with red peppers, asparagus and shiitake mushrooms. Folklore also has a variety of pasta dishes, a few salads, and appetizers like Tortilla de Espicana, or Argentine specialty tortilla; onions and eggs, spinach, basil, potatoes and roasted red peppers. DJ Sector will be live from 9:00pm - 2:00am, and Folklore will offer a complimentary champagne toast at midnight!

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants with locations across Illinois invites guests to celebrate the close of 2024 with Bubbles & Beginnings, a Wine Club pairing dinner on Monday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. The evening begins with an espresso martini and continues with dishes like grilled sourdough with truffle butter, winter truffle cappellacci paired with Lux Chardonnay, and Bordelaise-glazed filet medallions accompanied by a Chilean snow crab cake and paired with the December Wine of the Month, Hygge Cabernet. Fat Rosie's Schaumburg has a New Year’s Eve bash scheduled for December 31st from 8pm-2am. The evening will feature a live DJ and a countdown to midnight. The kitchen will be serving food until midnight. There isn’t a ticket price but guests should make reservations on Tock. 

  • Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook

The hotel will offer a night of music and entertainment within their holiday-inspired pop up bar, Prancer’s Pub. The hotel will host a special Dueling Pianos performance featuring Felix and Fingers at 8 PM. Tickets are $35 for general admission and $45 for a private table. All tickets include one complimentary glass of wine or beer, and there will be food available for pre-purchase, with drinks available to purchase all evening long. The night will culminate with a midnight countdown and balloon drop to ring in 2025. Room reservations are available for those looking to spend the evening on property.   • Oaken Bistro & Bar

This holiday season, Oaken Bistro & Bar's Executive Chef Christian Alejandro has prepared a special dish in celebration of the occasion for those spending the holiday on the North Shore. Open on New Year’s eve, Chef has prepared a Fennel, Lobster and Oyster Risotto, a dish featuring fennel purée, lobster carpaccio, fennel air, and edible flowers, available for the holiday only for $48. Bar Siena North Shore is hosting its inaugural New Year's Eve Family Experience featuring a DJ, crafts, face painting, and a balloon drop at noon.
