Nonna's, in the West Loop, has added new items to their always evolving menu - Tomato Basil Soup and a Pork Belly Porchetta sandwich. Nonna's actually makes the porchetta in-house, rubbing the pork belly with roasted garlic, rosemary, orange zest, fennel pollen, salt and cracked black peppercorns. They also roll the pork belly and truss it to make it into a roast. It's sliced quite thin and served hot on a toasted baguette with the garlic mayo, arugula and pickled red onions.
