Nicky’s of Beverly will celebrate World Vegan Day on Friday, November 1 by donating a portion of proceeds from all vegan menu items to Tiny Hooves Sanctuary, the woman-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit farmed animal sanctuary in Union Grove, WI.
Nicky’s offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian offerings that are prepared using a fryer reserved for non-meat items. Plant-based options include the Vegan Shrimp Po Boy featuring four vegan jumbo shrimp tossed in sauce and served on French bread with a vegan remoulade, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles; Vegan Nachos made with tortilla chips, Beyond crumbles, vegan nacho cheese, and jalapenos; Vegan Big Baby with two Beyond Meat plant-based patties stacked with your choice of vegan or regular cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickle, grilled onion, and brioche bun (vegan bun available by request); Vegan Gyros using Seitan gyros from Upton’s Naturals with lemon, marjoram, rosemary, and traditional gyro seasoning on a warm pita with red onion, tomatoes, and house-made vegan tzatziki; and more.
