Mordecai (3632 N. Clark St.) will host their new monthly event series dedicated to the queer community, “Bottoms Up!”. While this event has been specifically curated to celebrate Chicago’s LGBTQ+ community, all are encouraged to come as they are.
The cocktail menu (all priced at $14) includes a Hurricane (12 year barbados rum, navy strength jamaican rum, agricole, passionfruit, lime, and strawberry), Gibson, Cosmo, and more. Opt to try one of Mordecai’s five specialty shots for the occasion (all priced at $9), with highlights including The Sappho (early aughts vanilla vodka, 1990s la grande passion, and prosecco), The Mattachine (vodka, 1980s amaretto, 1980s strawberry, and cream), and The Divine (1990s lemon vodka, 1960s curaçao, and lemon).
Bottoms Up! will run one Thursday each month, beginning on Thursday, July 27th.
