Mordecai (3632 N. Clark St) has teamed up with Tyrus Yamagiwa, the official master blender of Jeppson’s Bourbon, and they have created a blend using three different barrels. On Tuesday, June 21st, Mordecai will debut their new Three Finger Old Fashioned featuring their private blend collaboration.
Additionally, bourbon drinkers can purchase a special edition 50/50 Black Manhattan To-Go which is crafted with Mordecai’s new bourbon blend. These cocktails, featuring vintage ingredients, will be sold in hand dipped bottles for preservation and are designed to improve through cellar resting. The 50/50 Black Manhattan will be available for purchase ($55, two servings) for one night only on Tuesday, June 21st.
