For two nights, Friday, June 10th and Saturday, June 11th, Mordecai (3632 N. Clark St) will host the first in a series of monthly collaborations between Mordecai’s Chef Michael McKinell and Spirit Archivist Kris Peterson, in which together they pair food selections with vintage cocktails for an evening that explores the stories and flavors behind each offering. 

June’s menu is centered around two cocktails: Vintage Mai Tai and Vintage Brooklyn. To complement the bar, Chef Michael is serving up Butter Poached Shrimp, Ramps & Duck Hearts, Porchetta, and Truffles. McKinnell and Peterson will walk guests through the history and inspiration behind the spirits and plates, providing guests with an experience in between each bite.
