Mordecai Continues ‘Cocktails for a Cause’ and Partners with Chicago Women’s Health Center

Mordecai’s Cocktails for a Cause initiative is continuing in May (which is also Women’s Health Care Month) with Chicago Women's Health Center, a nonprofit organization facilitating the empowerment of the youth, women, and trans people by providing access to health care and health education in a respectful environment where individuals can pay what they can afford.

During May they’re offering their month-long cocktail (with a spirit-free alternative), crafted with Chicago Women’s Health Center’s mission in mind. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the cocktail and spirit-free alternative will directly benefit this organization. 

Mordecai’s Sliding Scale is a blend of house bourbon, bonded brandy, blackstrap rum, amari, and bitters that create boozy notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Mordecai’s spirit-free alternative, Mirror and a Flashlight, is a bright pink mocktail built with ingredients such as watermelon, dill, and fresh mint to create a drink reminiscent of a Jolly Rancher.
