Milk Bar is opening their first Chicago shop this fall at 200 N. Green Street, on the first floor of The Hoxton, Chicago, in the center of the Fulton Market District. Founded in New York City in 2008 by pastry chef Christina Tosi. From pies and rainbow-flecked Birthday Cake to Cereal Milk Soft Serve ice cream and the Compost Cookie, Milk Bar’s Chicago location will carry the full menu of desserts, along with a couple of windy city specials: a Hot Dog Bomb that has been run through the garden and a soon-to-be-announced collaboration cookie with a Chicago institution. This opening marks the brand’s first location in the Midwest and their first partnership with Boka Restaurant Group.

“I am a midwesterner by birth and Chicago has long been one of my favorite cities to visit. Food, culture, sports, and art - the city is teeming with real people doing real things their way: creatively, honestly, and inspiringly.” said Milk Bar founder, Christina Tosi. “We promise to show up with passion, enthusiasm, and care, serving delicious cookies, cake, pie and ice cream early in the morning until late at night. Chicago, we can't wait to show up for you; we can't wait to call you home.”

The Chicago location will offer Milk Bar’s full menu of cookies, including Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow, Confetti, Blueberry & Cream, and more; Cake Truffles; Cakes and Pies, both whole and by the slice; Soft Serve Ice Cream with flavors like Cereal Milk, Chocolate Chip, Sprinkles, and more; Milkshakes and MilkQuakes; and Milk Bar Breads, including cream-cheese filled Bagel Bombs.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with our longtime friend, Christina Tosi, on bringing Milk Bar to Chicago,” said Boka Restaurant Group Co-founder, Kevin Boehm, “This collaboration feels especially meaningful, as both of our brands share a deep passion for creating memorable, joyful experiences through food. I’m excited for Chicago to indulge in these iconic treats and can’t wait to see how this partnership will sweeten our community.”
