Meet & Whiskey, a Prohibition-style speakeasy and cocktail bar, will officially open on March 2nd behind the Porkchop restaurant at 6341 N Broadway in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. The venue is accessed through a back-alley entrance illuminated by a red light. When the light is on, the establishment is open for ticketed entertainment or general admission. Access is either ticketed or granted through passwords published on @meetandwhiskey (Instagram).

A variety of performances, including jazz, burlesque, cabaret, and DJ-spun tunes will be provided accompanied by cocktails, a selection of whiskeys and cognacs, craft-made Zero ABV beverages, and rotating chef’s special small plates.

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, Meet & Whiskey is serving a specialty cocktail to raise funds for Chicago Foundation for Women. The drink, named for aviator Bessie Coleman, is a gin- or vodka-based beverage full of earthy pomegranate and tangy cranberry. It’s designed to get tastebuds soaring with lavender aromatics and a slightly spiced pop of black pepper.

Upcoming events, tickets, passwords for non-ticketed performances, and hours of operations will be continuously updated @meetandwhiskey.
