Get to the know the chefs of Fulton Galley (1115 W Fulton Market), Chicago’s new food hall, with a five-dinner series where each chef will prepare a coursed tasting in the 24-seat private dining room. Each chef will dive into their concept with a themed dinner and the bar team’s suggested pairings will be available to purchase a la carte.
For the first dinner, on August 7, Gerad Gobel and Alexis Rorabaugh of Italianette will ‘Beat the Heat’ with summertime dishes from the Italian Riviera. Each course will highlight Ligurian seafood offerings with dishes such as Octopus and Genovase Pesto Potato Salad and Spaghetti alle Vongole. Tickets will be $45 and can be purchased here.

On the Table
"Foccacia Di Recco": house made focaccia stuffed with smoked cheese and topped with sea salt
First two salad courses:
"Octopus and Genovase Pesto Potato Salad": braised Mediterranean octopus, basil pesto, potatoes, celery, and bottarga
"Panissa Salad with Wild Caught Pink Shrimp": cold chickpea panisse dressed with spring onions and majoram, topped with wild caught gulf shrimp
Second Course (Primi)
"Spaghetti alle Vongole": classic spaghetti and clams
Final Course Dessert
"Olive Oil Cake with Citrus Conserva and Local Cream": individual dessert portions of olive oil cake served with house made orange and lemon preserves and whipped cream
August 21 – Fairview with Dennis Bernard
