Chicagoans will have a new way to celebrate ‘May the Fourth’ this year as Replay Lincoln Park, (2833 N. Sheffield), is launching a Star Wars Pop-Up Bar Friday, May 4. Dedicated to the new Solo: A Star Wars Story coming out this year, Replay will transform their front bar into a Wretched Hive Cantina complete with a cantina band, specialty cocktails and immersive cantina décor. Kicking off with Star Wars themed trivia Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m., guests are invited to dress up as their favorite character, as if they were in a galaxy far, far away, for a limited time, Friday, May 4 – Sunday, May 6.
During the Star Wars pop-up, guests can enjoy new Star Wars themed cocktails such as the Wretched Blue Milk, Yoda Soda, Dark and Stormy Trooper, Kylo Ren-Tini, and I Did it all for the Wookie, and an assortment of Galaxy Series beer by Revolution Brewing. Many characters will also be at the pop-up bar for photo opportunities.
“With the new Star Wars movie coming out May 25, we wanted to give guests an opportunity to experience the world of Star Wars like never before,” said Mark Kwiatkowski, owner of Replay Lincoln Park. “Star Wars has been a fan favorite for decades, and we are so excited to transform Replay into such a unique and nostalgic environment.”
