Start your meal with Chicken & Andouille Sausage Gumbo; this spin on the Louisiana classic is loaded with okra, bell peppers, celery, onions, rice, cayenne, and gumbo file ($9, served with garlic bread). Additional Mardi Gras specials include a Blackened Chicken Po’ Boy with Cajun-spiced chicken breast ($15); an Andouille Sausage Po’ Boy with smoked andouille sausage ($15); and a Fried Shrimp Po’ Boy with buttermilk-marinated cornmeal fried shrimp ($17).All three sandwichescome on a Turano Baking Company telera roll with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, dill pickles and housemade remoulade (served with Cajun fries). Drink deals include $5 Abita Mardi Gras Bock bottles. The Mardi Gras specials are offered regular business hours. No cover/no reservations.
