Collaboration Dinner Logan Square

Chicago’s Lula Cafe, from chef and owner Jason Hammel, will host a collaboration dinner with Kismet, the vegetable-focused restaurant in Los Angeles from chefs and owners Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson.

The four course dinner with optional beverage pairings will take place on Sunday May 19th at 4:30pm at Lula Cafe (2537 N Kedzie Blvd), and is in celebration of Sara and Sarah’s new cookbook Kismet: Bright, Fresh, Vegetable-Loving Recipes, which released earlier this week. Tickets are $95 and available on Resy, and books will be available for purchase. 

The menu created in collaboration with Lula Cafe’s Jason Hammel and Kismet’s Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson includes: 

  • Smokey Freekah Fritters with Kismet labneh and green zhoug

  • Grilled Flatbreads

    • Marinated feta, grilled endive, and chamomile honey 

    • Mushrooms and ramps 

    • Hibiscus and beets

  • Branzino with preserved lemon, turnips, green garlic, and mustard greens

  • Buckwheat Blondies and ice cream
