Chef Stephanie Izard and Boka Restaurant Group are bringing Little Goat Diner to Chicago’s Southport Corridor at 3325 North Southport Avenue. The diner will offer a menu filled with comforting classics, lots of crunchy toppings, and plenty of pickled veggies. A “Grab & Goat” section for walk-up patrons will serve Big Shoulders coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. Little Goat will also feature many familiar faces in the new space, with over 80% of the staff returning from the original location.
“Picking a favorite restaurant is like picking a favorite child - but I have to say Little Goat Diner has a special place in my heart. I’m excited to be working in such a fun, friendly neighborhood, but I’m also really looking forward to hanging out here,” said Stephanie Izard. “Our menu has a little something for everyone! So whether you stop by at lunch for a Patty Melt, after work for a cocktail and Machos Nachos, a 3pm French Fry Pie pick-me-up, or in the early morning for one of our pancake selections (my son, Ernie’s, favorite), we can’t wait to see you!”
Many classics from Little Goat Diner will remain on the menu, like the Bull’s Eye French Toast (over easy egg, crispy chicken, brioche, bbq maple syrup, strawberries); This Little Piggy (scallion cheddar biscuit, sunny side egg, sichuan pork sausage, chili garlic chive sauce, blackberries); Little Goat Reuben (smoked corned beef, kimchi, kraut, havarti cheese, special sauce, rye); and Chickpea Salad (kale, chopped veggies, montamore cheese, tzatziki, chee vinaigrette); and there are also several new dishes like a Pork Belly Sammie (crispy sticky pork belly, sweet taters, pickled veggie slaw, ciabatta), Chili Crunch Chicken & Dumplings (like chicken & dumplings + pozole got hitched); and Disco Party Fries (coconut caramel, pickle party fun, pork belly bites, cotija). Breakfast is served all day, so diners can enjoy Cinnabuns, Corned Beef Hash, or any of the dishes from the Pancake Party section (Straight Up, PB&J, Chocolate Lovers, and Fat Elvis) any time they’d like. Same goes for the milkshake, pie, and sundae sections - including the chocolatey, caramelly, peanut buttery Cheez-it Sundae.
Little Goat Diner will be open daily from 7am to 9pm.
