French-Vietnamese restaurant Le Colonial is kicking off the month of August with a fundraiser benefiting the Highland Park Community Foundation to help the victims of the July 4th shooting. Starting August 1st through August 31st, 100% of proceeds from three new cocktails will be donated to the Highland Park Community Foundation to support the friends and neighbors who have been impacted by the tragedy.
The Highland Park Strong cocktail ($18) will be available at Le Colonial Lake Forest and features a mango-forward flavor profile that includes 28-Mile Vodka, fresh mango, orange liqueur, lime and topped with prosecco.
Highland Park Sunrise cocktail ($19) and the De Pêche Mode ($19) will be available at Le Colonial Chicago. Highland Park Sunrise features Casamigos Tequila, cointreau, mango, orange, Yakami Orchard Yuzu, fever-tree sparkling lime and Giffard Cassis de Bourgogne; while De Pêche Mode includes Rittenhouse Rye, orange Pekoe iced tea, peach nectar, honey, lemon and mint.
To help those directly impacted by the mass shooting in Highland Park, the Highland Park Community Foundation established the July 4th Highland Park Shooting Response Fund. All contributions to the Response Fund will go directly to victims and survivors or the organizations that support them.
