There is a special food holiday this month that only comes every four years – National Frog Legs Day, and Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp is celebrating in style.
On National Frog Legs Day, Thursday, February 29, guests who spend at least $20 at Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp can add a frog leg for free to their order to try one out. Guests who opt to try one will also get a free, green “I tried the Frog Legs at Lawrence’s” shirt while supplies last. Frog Legs have been on the menu at Lawrence’s since they first opened in 1950 and continue to be a popular choice. Served by the full or half pound, weighed before cooking, Lawrence’s sold nearly 15,000 orders across its four locations last year. The Frog Legs are farm raised and prepared in-house at Lawrence’s using a family recipe for the breading, then cooked to order.
