Christmas has come early for fans of Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp. The Chicagoland restaurant released a special holiday catering menu that not only offers big discounts on many of its most popular menu items, it supports a great cause. Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp will donate $1 to The Salvation Army for every person served through its holiday menu.

To get the word out, Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp tapped local musician Kip “Kidd” Russell (@kiddrussell) to bring the story to life using a track from his latest album, The Sweet Spot of Life. Russell partnered with Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp and The Salvation Army to shoot a music video for his song, “Grateful,” that captures the spirit of the season - giving back, being thankful and enjoying good food. The video features Kip’s real-life daughter and some very hungry Chicago Firefighters (Chinatown Station).

“Shooting at iconic Chicago locations and meeting families in need at The Salvation Army Shield of Hope was an honor,” said Russell who has also pledged to donate proceeds from the song to the cause.

Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp holiday catering menu is available now through the New Year. Customers can place an order in restaurants, over the phone or online at www.chicagoshrimp.com/catering. Anyone who wants to donate directly to The Salvation Army can do so in restaurants or online at www.salarmychicago.org/fish
