Kuma’s Corner Vernon Hills, a restaurant and bar, has announced a grand opening date of Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at 11:15am. They will be serving the same metal-themed burgers and offering a rotating draft beer list curated by Alexi Front and a craft cocktail program headed up by Bryn Gleason, like the other locations.
The 3,887 square-foot restaurant, Kuma's fifth location, is located at the new Mellody Farm mall. Staying within the mural-centric art theme at Mellody Farm, Kuma’s will feature murals and bar top art pieces by their staff, including Bryn Gleason & Kirsten Hansen.
Kuma’s Corner Vernon Hills has teamed up with Hope For the Day and will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their November Burger of the Month, SLEEP- a Housemade Turkey Patty with Tempura Fried Sage and Onion Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Turkey Gravy and Fried Sage, throughout opening week. Giving back to the communities that support Kuma’s and support their love for meat and heavy metal is a priority.
Kuma’s Corner started in 2005 with its flagship location at the corner of Belmont and Francisco in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood. With plans for opening one restaurant per year over the next several years, Kuma’s next endeavor will be out of state, in Denver, CO.
