Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has announced its official return to Chicagoland with its newest location at 17815 S. Halsted Street in Homewood, IL scheduled to open in November. The Homewood location will mark the first of eight planned shops in Krispy Kreme’s reentry into the Chicagoland area after a seven year absence, with two additional shops planned for 2017.
The sweet shop broke ground on Monday, August 15 and will feature Krispy Kreme’s new rebranded design designed to create an atmosphere for customers to relax and enjoy their treats. Housing a drive-thru and Krispy Kreme’s welcoming atmosphere, the shop will offer premium coffee and more than a dozendoughnuts, including the signature Original Glazed Doughnut.
