Krispy Kreme is rolling out its doughnuts to the Windy City with the opening of its first Downtown Chicago location in the Loop at Block 37 in early October. The Chicago Fresh Shop – owned and operated by Chicagoland Restaurants LLC, franchisee of Krispy Kreme– is the fourth of eight planned Krispy Kreme shops in the Chicagoland area.
Construction will begin this month. The shop will be located on the Pedway level of Block 37, a central shopping, dining and entertainment destination, and be accessible by both the CTA Red and Blue Lines.
Fresh doughnuts will be supplied twice daily to the Chicago Fresh Shop. The shop will offer Krispy Kreme’s signature Original Glazed® doughnuts, assorted doughnut varieties, coffee and frozen beverages. Online ordering and delivery will also be available.
“After reestablishing the Krispy Kreme brand in Homewood, Evergreen Park and Hillside, we have found the perfect spot for our first Chicago Fresh Shop in Block 37 for the city’s commuters, locals and visitors,” said Carlos Larcada, President of Chicagoland Restaurants, LLC. “We’re finally giving Chicagoans what they have been waiting for – a downtown location to satisfy their Krispy Kreme cravings.”
