Kona Ice has expanded in Illinois and now cruisin’ through the Naperville region.
"Kona Ice is a great fit for my community because it brings people together to socialize and enjoy time together,” said Taylor Parker, owner of Kona Ice of Naperville. “I love seeing the excitement across the community whenever a Kona Ice truck pulls up and cherish the impact Kona has for giving back.”
Kona Ice’s experience begins as the sounds of tropical calypso music fills the air at each event and group gathering. All in attendance get their cups of freshly shaved ice and then help themselves to any of the ten tastes on the truck’s Flavorwave, Kona’s self-service dispensing syste. Guests also have the option to choose from the additional 20-plus flavors and 500 different combinations offered.
"Working as a manager for Kona Ice in Lafayette inspired me to open my very own truck for my neighborhood and gave me insights on how operations work from the business side of things,” added Taylor. "Our goal is to continue bringing magic and memories to Naperville with tropical tunes and shaved ice.”
