Kinton Ramen, which has locations at 1426 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park and 163 N. Sangamon St. in the West Loop, recently added Shirataki Noodles, a low-carb, low-fat, and low-calorie noodle made from konjac root, to the their Japanese menu. Visitors can now substitute Kinton Ramen’s regular thin or thick noodle options for the gluten-free and keto-friendly item. With Shirataki Noodles, ramen eaters will still be able to order the five styles served at Kinton Ramen: Original, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic and Spicy Jalapeno.
