We're in the thick of summer and after several months of e-learning, it's no surprise to run out of ideas to entertain the kids. Plus, the heat isn't making outdoor activities particularly enjoyable.
Hosted by DANK Haus and led by Chef Carol Himmel of Himmel's Restaurant, this special Cooking with Kids virtual course welcomes students of all ages. Chef Carol will teach you how to make chicken tenders and homemade honey mustard sauce. The course will be approximately one hour long and after the demonstration, kids are encouraged to ask Carol questions.
The class will be Tuesday, July 14th at 2pm via Zoom. An adult is strongly recommended for supervision and help, especially with younger children. The ingredients and tools needed are common and most are more than likely in your pantry already. The class costs $10 with the proceeds split to benefit both Himmel's Restaurant and DANK Haus.
