Chevy Chase Country Club is pleased to announce its Summertime Kick-off Party on June 2 from 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. in partnership with School District 21.
The event features a complimentary breakfast buffet in the beautifully renovated and historic Ballroom and festivities include music from the iconic Sgt Peppers album (released on June 1, 1967 – the “Summer of Love”) performed by Beatlerama, one of the nation’s top Beatles cover bands. There will also be Beatles trivia, a LIVE “Name That Tune” competition, John, Paul, George and Ringo look-alike competitions, and a “Magical Mystery Scavenger Hunt”, along with games, dancing and more! Anna Belaval from The WGN TV Morning Show will be there to help judge the contests.
The day will feature a “Number Nine” competition where a hole in one on Hole # 9 on Chevy Chase’s Award Wining Course scores a $15,000 prize with half of the money going to one lucky winner, and the other half to The Katie Samsel Fund.
Admission is free. Donations of $5 or more will be accepted at the door and will go directly to School District 21’s chosen charity, The Katie Samsel Fund.
