Katherine Anne Confections, a Chicago-based confectionery featuring the creations of confectionista Katherine Duncan, is growing. After over four years of searching for a new location the Logan Square-based business will open its second location and production kitchen this April in the Irving Park Neighborhood at 3653 W. Irving Park Road.

The Irving Park location is a 14-seat, 1,900 square foot storefront café and confection production kitchen complete with a full espresso bar, a vegetable-forward café menu, housemade pastries plus truffles, caramels, marshmallows and confections that Katherine Anne Confections offers at its original location. This new space will reflect the set-up of the original location with production in the back and a café in the front.

“This is such an exciting leap for us!” says Katherine Duncan, owner and confectionista of Katherine Anne Confections. “We are looking forward to not only serving up delicious drinking chocolate and espresso, but also hosting community-driven events, classes, and settling in as a neighborhood gathering place. The Irving Park neighborhood is home to some awesome food establishments; and we’re thrilled to join them! Everyone has been so welcoming already, and we can’t wait to meet more neighbors.”
