Special Events The Loop

When: Monday, February 16th

Where: JW Marriott Chicago (151 W Adams St)

The JW Marriott Chicago will host a Dine Like a President dinner, a four-course menu inspired by past presidents' inaugural ball meals. Hosted on Presidents' Day, Monday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m., in the landmark, luxury hotel's Lincoln Suite, the intimate dinner will include an elegant champagne reception and a chance for a guest to win a stay in the luxurious suite. The one-night only special dinner is $125, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Reservations must be booked by Saturday, February 14 and can be made by calling 312 660 8200 and asking for Steve Conklin.

Executive Chef Michael Reich created the dishes by studying the past inaugural ball dinners from Wilson, Kennedy, Bush, and Obama. Every detail of the evening will be presidential perfect from the fine china to the evening's menu including duck pate, beef filet ala Aossini, Valrhona chocolate Charlotte Russe, and more.

"At the JW Marriott Chicago, we always strive to bring new thinking and artistry to our event offerings," shared Chef Michael Reich. "We wanted to create an evening for our guests that brings together the pleasure of history and fine food."

The night of living like a president won't end for one lucky diner. Following dinner, guests will be invited to look under their plate to find a golden ticket, redeemable for a one night stay in the Lincoln Suite to be used for a future date by May 26, 2015.
