Joe’s Imports is hosting an evening of food and wine pairings on January 23rd. Chef Aras Dailide has curated a 5-course wine dinner for $95 per person:

Welcome

  • Salmon Tartare - lemon vinaigrette and pine butter poached Dungeness crab paired with Bravium Blanc de Noirs (Anderson Valley, California 2018)

Course 1

  • Pisto Manchego - vidalia onion, eggplant, bell pepper, zucchini and tomato paired with Papa Vigos Vinho Branco (Duoro Valley, Portugal 2019)

Course 2

  • Squid Ink Cappelletti - smoked eel, Calabrian chili, salmon roe and pangrattato paired with Benevenuto Zbibo Orange Wine (Calabria, Italy 2020)

Course 3

  • Kurobota Pork Collar - harissa, smoked cauliflower, pistachio and salmoriglio paired with Jezreel "Alfa" Red Blend (Jezreel Valley, Israel 2019)

Dessert

  • Foie Gras 'Mars Bar' - foie gras mousse, salted caramel and almond paired with Haut Charmes (Sauternes, Bordeaux, France 2015)
