Everything Bagel ice cream is back. The flavor returns on March 21 and will be available at Chicagoland scoop shops while supplies last. Everything Bagel sold out last year and since then it’s been their most requested flavor. This time, Jeni’s wants to provide a chance to snag a spoonful.   

The flavor tastes like an everything bagel - dense, salty, barely sweet cream cheese ice cream with a buttery streusel (made from scratch in Jeni's Columbus kitchen) laden with sesame, poppy seeds, onions, and garlic. 

The flavor wasn’t created for shock value because pairing everything bagel seasoning with ice cream has been happening at Jeni’s for years. Everything bagel gravel (their catchall term for a crunchy streusel) was first available in scoop shops as a topping in the summer of 2013. And there’s a recipe for that same gravel in Founder Jeni Britton’s 2014 cookbook, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream Desserts.
