The James Beard Foundation announces that its Chicago event of the Taste America culinary series will take place on Wednesday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. at Bloom Plant Based Kitchen. Proceeds from the Taste America event will benefit the participating chefs, as well as the James Beard Foundation’s national impact programming in support of equity, sustainability, women’s leadership, and a future where all can thrive for the culinary industry and beyond. Tickets for the Taste America Chicago dinner are on sale now.

The Taste America Chicago dinner will be held at Bloom Plant Based Kitchen, featuring host TasteTwenty chef Rodolfo Cuadros from Bloom Plant Based Kitchen, and visiting TasteTwenty chef Jennifer Dobbertin from Best Quality Daughter in San Antonio. Activations, plus cocktail and wine pairings from a variety of local and national sponsors will add to the event.

“We are thrilled to host Taste America in Chicago and celebrate the city’s distinct and vibrant independent food culture through the work of our incredible Taste Twenty chefs—Rodolfo Cuadros and Jennifer Dobbertin,” said Siobhan Flaherty Haber, vice president of events at the James Beard Foundation. “As representatives of our Good Food for Good mission, we look forward to sharing their stories, exceptional talent, and everything they are doing for their communities at this special event.”
