Prix Fixe Mediterranean Roscoe Village

The 2024 James Beard Awards are soon-to-be celebrated in Chicago, and Le Sud will offer a special menu to mark the occasion. From Friday, June 7 to Sunday, June 9, the Roscoe Village restaurant will offer a three course prix fixe featuring Mediterranean dishes from the new spring menu. Chef William Lara's tasting menu includes the choice of small plate (burrata; Moroccan lamb meatballs; escargot au gratin), large plate (Moroccan chicken tagine; steak frites; fettuccine and clams), and dessert (bread pudding; creme brulee) for $45 per person.

BURRATA
Confit cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic, fig balsamic, crostini

MOROCCAN LAMB MEATBALLS
Tomato sauce, parmigiano reggiano, herbs de Provence

ESCARGOT AU GRATIN
Baked melted cheese, garlic butter, crostini

LARGE PLATES

MOROCCAN CHICKEN TAGINE
Tagine broth with shallots, garlic, olives, apricots, raisins and fennel, pearl couscous, chicken thighs and drumstick

STEAK FRITES
8oz New York Strip, maître d’ butter, frites, black garlic aioli

FETTUCCINE & CLAMS
Little neck clams, olives, capers, fire roasted tomato, cracked pepper, basil, parmigiano reggiano
