From Monday, April 8 through Monday, April 15, the Divine Lounge, located within the Ivy Hotel, 233 E. Ontario Street, will be offering a special “Star Wars” themed beverage menu in honor of Chicago being “the chosen one” to host the “Star Wars Celebration” this year. The full specialty menu will feature cocktails including:
· R2D2, $12: Rum, Blue Curacao and Pineapple Juice
· The Yoda, $13: Gin, Mint Leaves, Tonic, Grapefruit Juice and Lime
· The Force, $13: Vodka, Muddled Strawberries and Blueberries and Simple Syrup
· The Dark Side, $10: Spiced Rum and Coke
Divine Lounge will be offering anyone that comes dressed in costume 20 percent off their entire bill when they post a picture in their Star Wars apparel and tag the Ivy Hotel on Instagram or Facebook at @ivyhotelchicago. Guests that post photos of the intergalactic cocktails on their social media channels will also receive the 20 percent off discount when they tag the Ivy Hotel.
“Whether guests are coming to enjoy a drink before or after the convention or are just huge fans of the sagas, we welcome everyone to come and experience our out-of-this world ‘Star Wars’ cocktail creations in the Divine Lounge,” said Max Herrera, Director of Food and Beverage at the Ivy Hotel.
The Divine Lounge is open on Sundays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. – 12 a.m.
