Wine Steakhouse Lakeshore East

III Forks Prime Steakhouse, located in Chicago's Lakeshore East neighborhood, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sommelier Christopher McFall. Lauded "Best New Sommelier 2012" by Wine & Spirits magazine, McFall honed his hospitality career in Austin, Texas with various front of the house positions at Sullivan's Steakhouse, Lamberts Downtown Barbecue, III Forks Prime Steakhouse and Paggi House. In 2008, McFall received his Sommelier Certification and four years later earned his Advanced Sommelier Certification. McFall's "life changing" introduction to the world of wine began in college by swapping a red Solo cup for a friend's 1968 Bertani Amarone. His current favorite varietals include red and white Burgundy as well as Grüner Veltliner. As a recent transplant to Chicago, McFall plans to explore the city's vibrant live music scene, exciting sporting events, award-winning restaurants and incredible museums.

The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday, 5-10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5-11 p.m. The rooftop lounge opens at 4 p.m. daily.
