Caitlyn Jenner's new docu-series on E!, I Am Cait, is set to premiere on Sunday, July 26 and Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will have their seven, jumbo projection screens tuned in every week at 7 p.m. The Lakeview-located lounge's own transgender "Divas" will entertain guests with live performances during commercial breaks.
The weekly viewing party drink specials include half-priced martinis and $7 Stoli Moscow Mules (Stolichnaya Vodka, ginger beer and lime juice served in a traditional copper mug with fresh mint). Chef Joann Witherell's full dinner menu will be available and small plates (chicken satay; BBQ shrimp; deviled eggs; crab cakes; and more) will be offered at 1/3 the price.
About the Series: E! has announced an eight-part, one-hour documentary series titled I Am Cait, which will illustrate the star living her life as a transgender woman and telling her intimate story as she seeks out her "new normal." Living for the first time as the person she feels she was born to be, the series will also explore what Cait's transition means for all of the people in her life and how those relationships are affected.
About Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club: Located in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood, Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club is owned by longtime life partners Edward Gisiger and Ramesh Ariyanayakam. A pillar of the LGBT community since 2000, Kit Kat is known for their beautiful and talented "Divas" (transgender, female impersonators), who perform table side throughout the restaurant every evening. With a "South Beach-meets-Hollywood" atmosphere, contemporary cuisine (featuring entrees named after legends of the silver screen) and an innovative martini menu, Kit Kat is truly a one-of-a-kind dining destination. Where else can you dine with Madonna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Cher and Katy Perry, all in one night?
