Hyatt Lodge, 2815 Jorie Blvd., Oak Brook, will host a five-course dinner at its lakefront restaurant, Water’s Edge, highlighting a selection of wines from Orin Swift Wines on Friday, July 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests will enjoy passed hors d’ oeuvres, sip fine wine, and delight in live music and entertainment before migrating to the private dining room featuring views of the lakefront and preserve at 5:45 p.m. The dinner menu includes tasting dishes thoughtfully curated by Executive Chef Joshua Karther, paired with Orin Swift’s most bold and eclectic wines. Spaces are limited. Tickets are $139 per person plus tax. 

“The distinct flavor profiles of each of the wines has inspired the individual dishes that guests will enjoy throughout the evening,” said Chef Karther. “We are delighted to welcome guests to our Orin Swift Wine Dinner for an unforgettable evening of one-of-a-kind pairings.”

  • Blank Stare 2019 Sauvignon Blanc paired with Tuna and Goat Cheese Sashimi Cone and Toybox Tomato Bruschetta with Pecorino passed hors d’ oeuvres 
  • Mannequin 2019 California Chardonnay paired with Barramundi with a Tamarind Sauce and English Peas
  • Abstract 2019 California Red paired with Smoked Pork Belly over Creamy Polenta and Lavender Agrodolce
  • Papillon 2018 Napa Valley Red paired with Char Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Asparagus, and Cherry Gastrique
  • 8 Years in the Desert Papillon Red Blend paired Chocolate Budino, Chocolate Panatella, and Balsamic Strawberries

Orin Swift, founded in 1998 by David Swift Phinney, makes wines that are known to be bold in body, color, and character. Following dinner, guests are welcome to enjoy Hearth Lounge, a cozy bar and lounge at the heart of Hyatt Lodge.
