Reviver

Reviver (540 N. Michigan Ave.), the cocktail bar located within the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, will host a Candlelight Happy Hour in honor of Earth Day on Friday, April 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. 

In addition to happy hour specials, guests will be offered live music, food specials (Reviver’s Beyond Burger with bibb lettuce, caramelized onions, truffles, golden beet aioli and smoked cheddar on a brioche bun with sweet potato fries and miso aioli; $15) and cocktail specials (Spring Equinox with gin, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Pamplemousse liqueur, basil and lime juice; $12). The full menu will also be available. 

10% of all sales from the happy hour will be directly donated to FamilyFarmed, a non-profit organization committed to expanding the production, marketing and distribution of locally grown and responsibly produced food, in order to enhance the social, economic, and environmental health of our communities.

Chiya Chai

Chiya Chai in the Loop (79 E. Madison St.) and Logan Square (2770 N. Milwaukee Ave.) will encourage customers to recycle their chai bottles. Beginning on Earth Day, Friday, April 22, guests who bring back their empty chai bottles will receive $2 off their order through Thursday, April 28.

Pilot Project x ROVM

ROVM will celebrate its one year anniversary on Earth Day (Friday, 4.22) with a special event at Pilot Project Brewing (2140 North Milwaukee Avenue) from 6pm-8pm. For $25/person, participants will create their own succulent and terrarium planters while partaking in ROVM.

ROVM will supply all air plants, succulents, rocks, and personal containers for guests to build their own planter and each attendee will receive a flight of ROVM (or a 16oz hard kombucha flavor) of their choice.

Three winners from the event will get a gift bag of eco-friendly goods, a $50 Pilot Project gift card and a 4 pack of ROVM. To enter, attendees must snap and share a photo of their creation on Instagram, tag and follow ROVM.

Mariano's West Loop

In honor of Earth Day on April 22, Sacred Serve will host a tasting party of the world's most sustainable sundae at Mariano's West Loop (40 S Halsted St). The evening will be filled with sustainable ice cream samples, music, and drinks. The free event will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and registration to attend can be done on EventBrite.

Good Ambler

To celebrate Earth Month this April, Good Ambler is partnering with Cacao Barry for a pop-up that focuses on sourcing cocoa beans responsibly/sustainably. A chocolate special from Chef Dimitri Fayard, Head Chef of the Chicago Chocolate Academy, will be available at Good Ambler the weekend of April 22. Chef Kevin has ramped up their bonbon flavors and volume with their new chocolate machine.

In support of Earth Day on Friday, April 22, aliveOne in Lincoln Park will feature a specialty “The John Muir” cocktail for $8 each, and $1 from each cocktail sold will benefit the National Parks Conservation Association. The cocktail features CH Vodka, demerara syrup, fresh lime juice and grapefruit La Croix.

For 100 years, the nonpartisan National Parks Conservation Association has been the leading voice in safeguarding national parks. NPCA and its more than 1.3 million members and supporters work together to protect and preserve the nation’s most iconic and inspirational places for future generations.

Easy Bar

In recognition of Earth Day, Easy Bar will donate $1 from each Mule sold on Friday, April 22 to Conservation International. Building upon a strong foundation of science, partnership and field demonstration, Conservation International (CI) empowers societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature, our global biodiversity, and for the well-being of humanity.

Estelle’s 

In honor of Earth Day on Friday, April 22, Estelle’s will donate $1 from every house cocktail sold to the Alliance for the Great Lakes. Guests can choose from drinks like the Baijiu Burro with Xicara Mezcal, Ming River Baijiu, lime juice and simple syrup, a Pampaloma with Combier Pamplemousse liqueur, Olmeca Altos Silver Tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, Estelle’s Old Fashioned with Four Roses Bourbon, Demerara syrup, Angostura bitters, orange bitters and more.

The Alliance for the Great Lakes is a nonpartisan nonprofit working across the region to protect our most precious resource: the fresh, clean, and natural waters of the Great Lakes.

Remedy Bar

In celebration of Earth Day this April, Remedy has partnered with Right Bee Cider to host a “Be Kind to the Bugs” fundraiser and donate $1 for any drink sold throughout the evening to the Urban Growers Collective. Right Bee’s Urban Cidery features ten bee hives on the roof, managed by The Hive Supply, that provide honey for many of their ciders. The bees pollinate the wildflowers that grow on the train tracks outside of Right Bee. 

Rooted in growing food, Urban Growers Collective cultivate nourishing environments which promote health, economic development, healing, & creativity through urban agriculture.
