Starting this weekend, Honey Butter Fried Chicken’s signature side Camchi Kimchi will be available for purchase in jars at Local Foods (1427 W. Willow). The partnership kicks off with a pop-up on Sunday, November 11 from 12-2 p.m. Camchi founder and Chef Cam Waron will be demonstrating his handcrafted fermented kimchi process and offering tastings. Local Foods Café is also offering a special on their brunch menu this weekend: a local mushroom and root vegetable hash with Green Tomato Camchi, poached eggs, and a Camchi hollandaise.
Camchi Kimchi green tomato and beet varieties are available in-store at Local Foods for purchase.
