Home Run Inn will donate a portion of restaurant and frozen pizza sales to Feed My Starving Children throughout the month of October’s National Pizza Month. These proceeds will support the packaging and distribution of food to people in developing nations.

“Feed My Starving Children has been providing nutrition to starving children for 33 years and we are so very grateful for our partnership with Home Run Inn,” said Marilyn Maurella, Development Manager of Feed My Starving Children. “The World Food Programme estimates that COVID-19’s global impact will double the number of people experiencing severe hunger to 265 million in 2020. Home Run Inn’s heart for communities around the world will help FMSC to reach them.”

Home Run Inn operates nine Chicago area restaurants and sells frozen pizza in more than 40 states.

From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Home Run Inn has donated upwards of 30,000 pizzas, feeding an excess of 80,000 families in need and first responders in the Chicagoland area.

“Now more than ever, our team is committed to supporting others when they need it most,” said Gina Bolger, Senior Vice President of Branding and a member of the fifth-generation family-owned Home Run Inn. “National Pizza Month is an important time to uphold our core family values and help feed hungry children all over the world.”
