Home Run Inn now offers 8” DIY Pizza Kits for family activities, virtual hangouts or when you need a night off from takeout. Available for $9.99 at Chicagoland restaurants for carryout, curbside and delivery, these kits allow Chicagoans to shave the restaurant experience at home.

Each kit includes Home Run Inn’s ingredients: a ball of buttery, flaky dough; homemade pizza sauce; and shredded mozzarella cheese.

“Whether you are baking pizzas for family dinner or showing off your creation on Zoom happy hour, we’re excited to bring the flavors of our kitchen to your home with DIY Pizza Kits,” said Brian Ginger, Executive Chef of Home Run Inn.

Grab your apron and follow these cooking tips to create your Home Run Inn cheese pizza. Start with preheating the oven to 425 degrees. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, hand roll the dough out in a thin circle measuring slightly larger than 8” and crimp the edges. Spread pizza sauce evenly across the dough with a spoon to the inside of the crimped edges and top generously with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake pizza for 16 to 20 minutes, or until cheese is browned and edges are crispy (oven times may vary).

Put a tasty twist on the make-your-own Home Run Inn pizza experience by adding your favorite roasted vegetables, seasonal herbs or sliced meats after topping with shredded cheese.

Customers can order DIY Pizza Kits for carryout, curbside and delivery at restaurants across Chicagoland, including Archer Ave., Berwyn, Beverly, Bolingbrook, Bronzeville, Chicago 31st Street, Darien, Hillside and Melrose during regular business hours.
