Timothy O’Toole’s Pub will hold their 10th annual “Turkey Testicle Festival” and pumpkin pie eating competition on Black Wednesday, November 27. The turkey testicle eating contest will take place at 9 p.m., with the winner receiving a whole frozen turkey to prepare for their own Thanksgiving Day feast. At 11 p.m., the pub will hold a pumpkin pie eating contest with the winner receiving a $25 gift certificate. To enter the eating competitions, simply show up at O’Toole’s and register before 9 p.m.
Chef Corey Grupe will offer a bevy of Thanksgiving themed dishes from November 27-29. The featured specials include a $10 “Bucket of Balls” to commemorate the 10th anniversary (deep fried turkey testicles served with choice of dipping sauce); Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner Plate ($15); Open Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich ($14); and Turkey Panini ($14). To finish, enjoy a slice of pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream ($4). The complete menu is outlined below.
On Thanksgiving Day (November 28), the pub will open at 10 a.m. for the Bears vs. Lions game. Thanksgiving Day drink specials include $5 pints of Blue Moon and Goose Island 312, $8 O'Toole's mules, $7 Jack Daniels mixers and $6 Miller Lite Bears Keepsake Stadium Cups (22 ounces).
