Gwen Lux Birthday Dinner

On November 16-17, The Gwen celebrates the birthday of the hotel’s namesake Gwen Lux, a sculptor known for her art-deco style.

Birthday offerings include:

• Thursday, November 16: Guests can join The Gwen for a four-course dinner paired with pours from Veuve Clicquot.  The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner featuring dishes including Beef Carpaccio, topped with shaved foie gras and Seared Scallops with cauliflower crumble. Tickets are $95 (exclusive of tax and gratuity) and can be purchased at bit.ly/GwenLuxVeuve.
• Friday, November 17: The Gwen offers a dessert special for Gwen’s birthday – the Gwen Lux Cake ($8), an almond and saffron cake with Marcona almond and sorghum granola topped with olive oil ice cream. Guests can round out the celebration by pairing the dessert with The Gwen Lux cocktail ($14), which is a fruity blend of gin, dry vermouth, raspberry, egg white, lemon, and sparkling wine.
