Goose Island has released the fourth burger in their Collaboration Burger Series at the Clybourn Brewhouse – the Jamila Woods Burger. Inspired by Jamila, the Chicago-based singer, songwriter and poet, Executive Chef, Henry Pariser, created a spicy twist on the vegetarian black bean burger.
The Jamila Woods Burger is a spicy black bean and quinoa burger with arugula, pickled shallots, Sriracha Kewpie and Maple Leaf Cheese Co-Op pepper jack – all on a Dutch crunch bun and served with Sidewinder fries.
The burger will available at the Goose Island Clybourn Brewhouse through the end of March for dine-in and pickup via Toast.
Proceeds from this burger will benefit the Brave Space Alliance, the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ center located on the South Side of Chicago. The Brave Space Alliance is dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent resources, programming and services for LGBTQ+ individuals in the city.
