Calling all pizza and beer lovers! On Thursday, Feb. 11,
Giordano’s Andersonville will bring you the classic combination: cheesy, deep dish pizza and ice-cold beer for their first
Sam Adams Beer Dinner.
Five, carefully selected Sam Adams varieties will be sampled with
popular Giordano’s food items, including the
Chicago Classic Stuffed Pizza which pairs well with the bitterness in the Rebel Grapefruit IPA, a
Meatball Slider with Sam Adams Nitro White Ale that compliments the tomato sauce, the
Brushetta Spoon with a Cold Snap that blends well with the creaminess of the mozzarella and acidity of the tomatoes and balsamic, and the
Harvest Salad paired with the nuttiness of the Angry Orchard
Stone Dry. And after all the tasty dishes, don’t forget to leave room
for the
Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream, paired with the Coney Island Hard Root Beer.
Tickets are $25 per person and include all five tasting stations,
plus a Sam Adams pint glass and a frozen Giordano’s pizza to take
home. The tasting will take place upstairs at the new Andersonville
location, starting with cocktails at 6 p.m., and the event following shortly after at 6:30 p.m. After the event, all
Sam Adams draft beer will be available at the bar for $2 the remainder of the night.
