Any one of Gioia’s spritzes can be paired with the new Italian Tapas Menu, available from 5 - 7 PM. Gioia’s Italian tapas include:

  • Tiramila - Served in a glass like an Italian tiramisu, this dish is made with different fish textures and colors featuring whipped cod, black squid ink chips and caramelized shrimp crumble.

  • Tramezzino - A tuna sandwich with mayonnaise and onion, the idea for this dish comes from Turin, Italy when two emigrants returned from the U.S. and needed to prepare a fast, cold dinner.

  • Hamburgita - Served like an American burger, but made with ingredients originating from Apulia, this hamburger features prosciutto, stracciatella and arugula on Focaccia Pugliese.

  • Carnetto - A Cornetto Algida but make it meat. This dish features a beef tartare topped pastry with mixed greens and avocado

  • Carpaccio - A plant-forward take on meat carpaccio, this version uses marinated watermelon to mimic the texture and color of meat and is served with arugula and parmigiano.
