Geja’s Café is planning a Valentine’s celebration. From Saturday, February 9 through Sunday, February 17,” Geja’s Café will be decorated for the love-filled holiday and will feature a selection of rosé sparkling wines and champagnes, fondue cuisine, complemented with entertainment throughout the evening from live flamenco and classical guitarists. The Valentine’s Festival will also play host to the Celebration of Marriage Night, where couples receive an added discount based on the years they have been married.
“Our goal at Geja’s Café is to create the perfect Valentine’s experience for our guests that spans past the actual day,” says Jeff Lawler, Geja’s Proprietor. “We will combine the necessary ingredients of an intimate atmosphere, fine champagnes, lavish decorations, live music, flower arrangements by Dilly Lily, couple massage packages at Massage House, and delicious fondues into the perfect recipe for romance.”

To kick off the menu, guests can indulge in East Coast Oysters served with a classic mignonette sauce with yuzo kosho, an acidic and spicy, all purpose condiment. Course One options include the Onion Tartine with lavender goat’s milk ricotta, and housemade Grano Arso Agnolotti finished with yellow tomatoes. Mains include Poached Diver Scallops complete with lemongrass broth, as well asdecadent Braised Short Rib with pistachio and cauliflower. Curated by Executive Chef Larry Feldmeier, formerly of Sixteen, the menu is available for $65 a person with the option of a $45 wine pairing. To kick off the menu, guests can indulge in East Coast Oysters served with a classic mignonette sauce with yuzo kosho, an acidic and spicy, all purpose condiment. Course One options include the Onion Tartine with lavender goat’s milk ricotta, and housemade Grano Arso Agnolotti finished with yellow tomatoes. Mains include Poached Diver Scallops complete with lemongrass broth, as well as decadent Braised Short Rib with pistachio and cauliflower. Themed specials will include a $6 "Suck My Kiss" shot featuring Fireball and Pimms topped with whipped cream and an $8 "The Cupid" cocktail featuring CH Vodka, demerara syrup, fresh lime juice and grapefruit La Croix. Cardamom Rose Mocha Special
Chicagoans can treat their sweetie to Caffé Umbria's special Cardamom Rose Mocha available throughout February at Caffè Umbria in Logan Square and River North. Inspired by the Persian Love Cake which features cardamom and rose in a delicate balance, the festive drink mixes double espresso, mocha sauce, steamed milk, ground cardamom, cocoa powder and rose whipping cream made with Monin Rose Syrup and pink edible glitter.
Cardamom is considered the "Queen of Spices" and it is said that Cleopatra used the scent to seduce. In this drink, the chocolate and coffee create a beautiful backdrop for the two aromatics. Creamy sweet rose appears first, and warming cocoa and cardamom finishes. Spice does not overpower, and rose notes are subtle and not perfume-y.

Valentine's Day Fundraiser and Easy Rider Market
Easy Bar will host a "Tinder Dates Will Love You Today, A Dog Will Love You Forever" themed evening on Valentine's Day. Guests can purchase a $6 mylar dog or animal balloon for their special someone, and proceeds will benefit PAWS Chicago. Patrons will enjoy a half-off everything happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (excluding shots). Drinks specials available all evening will include $4 Malört shots, $4 Fernet shots, $4 select drafts and $5 Ketel One cocktails.

On Valentine's Day, Estelle's invites Chicagoans to "come wine to us about your love life" over half-price glasses of wine, available all evening for $6 each (normally $12). Wine selections include Meiomi Pinot Noir, The Federalist Cabernet, Mouton Noir Love Drunk Rosé, Hidden Crush Chardonnay, Sokol Blosser Willamette Valley Pinot Gris and La Marca Prosecco. Themed specials will include a $6 "Be My Tindertine" pink cocktail featuring CH Key Gin, Campari, lime juice and demerara. "Couples Therapy" Prix Fixe Dinner and Valentine's Afterparty

This Valentine's Day, Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Lincoln Park and Wicker Park will offer guests a dinner package along with an option to pre-order a white rose bouquet for an additional $40 (must be purchased by Tuesday, February 12). Kizuki will hold two seatings at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The prixe fixe dinner for two includes one bottle of champagne or sake per couple, choice of two select izakaya plates, choice of any ramen or rice dish per person, and one slice of Japanese Strawberry Cheesecake per person.
