Geja's Cafe has announced a long time relationship with the Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery, Wine Enthusiast’s2018 American Winery of the Year, for a winemaker dinner on Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30pm. Guests will be offered the San Antonio Wines paired up with Geja’s Beef Tenderloin, Gulf Shrimp and Chicken Premier Dinner.
“We are thrilled to be able to showcase the delicious wines of the Riboli Family through August,” says Jeff Lawler, Geja’s Café Proprietor. “We thrive to deliver the ultimate dining experience and the exquisite selections from San Antoni Winery are the perfect pairings for our decadent dinner options. Sam Antonio Winery has blended and bottled Geja’s Café’s Chardonnay and Cabernet wines for over 40 years and we are ecstatic to be able to honor this cherished relationship.”
The winemaker dinner, on Tuesday, June 11, will comprise of four courses. Guests will start with a house salad before diving into Geja’s traditional cheese fondue with grapes, apples and a variety of baked breads. The main course, Geja’s International Premier Fondue, features a variety of eats including beef tenderloin, jumbo shrimp and chicken breast, all served with a mountain of fresh vegetables and eight homemade dipping sauces. Guests will end the meal with a flaming chocolate fondue featuring strawberries, apples, banana, pineapple, cherries, pound cake, graham cracker crumbs, Rice Krispy treats and marshmallows for roasting. The cost of the evening is $70 per person and includes tax and gratuity. Wine at the dinner will feature an assortment of selections from San Antonio Winery.
