1st Annual Cinco de Derby Weekend at Broken Barrel Bar

When Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby land on the same weekend it calls for a celebration of both.

At Broken Barrel Bar’s Cinco de Derby fête on Saturday, guests are invited to wear their best over the top tea party hat or sombrero for the mixed-theme event. The Derby will be played throughout the bar and outdoor beer garden while Chef Bryant Anderson serves up food and drink specials.

Cinco de Derby specials include: 
Crispy Avocado Taco with mushrooms and goat cheese
Crispy Kentucky Chicken Tenders with award-winning sauces
Mint Julep Wild Turkey 101 Kentucky Bourbon, mint, soda, simple syrup, topper of bitters
Horsefeather Four Roses whiskey, organic prosecco, simple, mint, angostura bitters, lime

Broken Barrel’s full brunch and dinner menus will also be available on Saturday and Sunday. Food and drink specials will be available Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Doors open both days at 11 a.m.
